Health, Safety and Environment Policy
Why This Matters
Nothing is more important than people going home safe and healthy after every day of work. This applies equally to physical safety, mental wellbeing, and the environments where we work. Creating a workplace where people feel safe to speak up, take care of themselves, and look out for each other is not just good practice - it reflects our core value of care. Every incident is preventable, and every person deserves to work in conditions supporting their health and safety.
What We're Committed To
- Everyone goes home safe and healthy - We believe all workplace injuries, illnesses, and incidents are preventable and we are committed to eliminating them through strong leadership, active engagement, and continuous improvement
- Physical and psychological safety - We create work environments supporting both physical wellbeing and mental health, free from harassment, excessive stress, and psychological harm
- Speak up culture - People feel safe raising safety concerns, reporting incidents or near-misses, and challenging unsafe practices without fear of retaliation
- Competence and training - All team members receive appropriate HSE training for their roles and have the skills and support needed to work safely
- Client site compliance - When working at client sites, we meet or exceed their HSE requirements and align with their site-specific safety culture
- Incident response and learning - We report all incidents and near-misses promptly, investigate thoroughly, and apply lessons learned to prevent recurrence
- Wellbeing support - We provide resources and support for mental health, work-life balance, and overall wellbeing, recognizing these are essential to sustainable performance
How We Work
Take personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of others around you. If something doesn't feel safe, stop and address it. Ask questions when procedures are unclear. Report incidents and near-misses even when no harm occurred - they're opportunities to learn and improve. Take care of your mental health and reach out when you need support. When visiting client sites, treat their safety rules with respect - they exist for your own workplace. Your professional judgment guides safe work practices - our standards define what's non-negotiable.
