Business Ethics & Anti-Corruption Policy

Effective: 12/12/2025 Review: Annually Owner: CEO

Why This Matters

Integrity is the foundation of everything we do. We earn trust through ethical conduct, transparent dealings, and refusing to compromise our values for short-term gain. Corruption undermines fair competition, harms communities, and erodes the rule of law. Business ethics violations carry severe legal consequences and can destroy our reputation and relationships permanently. We choose to work with partners who share our commitment to doing business the right way.

What We're Committed To

  1. Zero tolerance for bribery and corruption - We do not offer, promise, give, request, or accept bribes, kickbacks, or improper payments of any kind, whether dealing with public officials, commercial partners, or anyone else
  2. No facilitation payments - We do not make or accept facilitation payments, even where they may be common practice or appear to expedite routine government services
  3. Conflicts of interest - We identify, disclose, and manage situations where personal interests could conflict with company interests or compromise objective business judgment
  4. Prevention of fraud - We maintain accurate records, protect company assets, and do not engage in or tolerate fraudulent conduct including false statements, document falsification, or misappropriation
  5. Appropriate gifts and hospitality - Business courtesies must be modest, occasional, transparent, and legitimately related to business purposes - never offered or accepted to improperly influence decisions
  6. Accurate records - All financial books, business records, and invoices are maintained accurately and transparently in accordance with applicable accounting standards and legal requirements
  7. Prompt reporting - Suspected or observed violations are reported immediately through appropriate channels without fear of retaliation

How We Work

Use professional judgment guided by this principle: would this decision withstand public scrutiny? When offering or accepting anything of value, ask yourself whether it could reasonably appear inappropriate. Maintain complete, honest records of all transactions. Declare potential conflicts of interest proactively. If something feels wrong or you're uncertain about appropriate conduct, pause and escalate. Your expertise guides implementation - our values define what's non-negotiable.

When to Escalate

Contact CEO immediately if:

  • Anyone requests or offers a bribe, kickback, or facilitation payment
  • You're asked to make payments or arrangements appearing designed to conceal the ultimate recipient
  • You identify an actual or potential conflict of interest
  • You suspect fraudulent conduct or record falsification
  • You're uncertain whether a gift, hospitality, or business courtesy is appropriate
  • You receive solicitations for improper payments from officials or business partners
